Do you have a REAL plan?

We were absolutely shocked by the language that was put out by some in Washington
recently about there plans for controlling the spread of the bird flu. They actually
made the statement that people would be at work and should stay 3 - 5 feet away
from other employees. This is the most absurd statement we have ever heard.

Remember when we talk about a "REAL" plan, we talk about one that does
not sugar coat the truth about what might happen and the result of human nature.

There is no way to really know.

There are many "crazy people" our there claiming to be experts. We want you to remember
that we are dealing with an unknown. That is the real scary part. We have conducted a great
deal of research and talked to many experienced professionals that have no reason to exploit this
subject. Our firm conclusion is that if it does hit the US any time soon, we are not prepared and
there will be a HUGE shock wave sent throughout the country. We want you to be realistic but
at the same time slightly over-prepared. From this comes comfort. Not being prepared causes
great concerns but no one in a position of authority will be allowed to tell the truth to the US.
Just play it out in your own mind to make sure we are not exaggerating.
In 2005 when there was a 48 hour gas shortage, many gas stations ran out of fuel for
8 - 24 hours. The result was a panic reaction that spread like wildfire. There were lines
100's of yards long at the pumps. Fear set in that people would be stranded and not
have gas to maintain their normal lives. Remember, we are talking about gas running short
for 48 hours. When you then take that same human reaction and add 100's of thousands
of people coming down with the bird flu and many of them dying from it, how do you think
the public will react then? When that continues for weeks and weeks, and only a few
are prepared, the outcome will not be pleasant. Katrina showed us what people will do
after only a few days without supplies or commerce. Now add 4 more weeks on to that and
have it happen across the entire nation.

If you are seeking a great plan for the bird flu and information on preparing we encourage you to visit TheRealBirdFluPlan. It is the best plan we have found and is the most affordable. We have reviewed many.

First let's take a look at will happen.
Everyone has families and this includes all the employees of major service providers.
What would you do, let your family stay at home alone and be at work, or go home and
be with them?

Like we always say,
"Plan for the worst and the rest will take care of itself."

What you will not have.

  1. Social interaction with neighbors, friends and family.

  2. Plan on having no power.

  3. No major phone service.

  4. No water supply.

  5. No trash service.

  6. No stores of any kind will be open.

  7. No gasoline will be available.

  8. Limited news service. Radio should be the best.

  9. Little to no local law enforcement.

  10. No travel on any major freeway or interstate.

  11. No flights anywhere.

  12. There will be limited or no access to medical care.

  13. No pharmacies will be open.

How Long will it last?

There are numbers all over the board on this issue. Again, we like to plan for the worst.
If you take the "wave" theory into consideration, this "frozen period" could last as long as
3 months.

Movement is not an option

"Packing up the family" and moving away from the wave is not an option.
You need to be prepared where you are at that time. Remember, the recent
executive order allows the President to declare marshal law for this disease
and all travel will be stopped.

What to stock and buy.
Most of these items can be found here Emergency Supplies but we
will warn you that suppliers across the nation are running short of supplies.
